Can EAGLE work with Window8 ?

    we did some testing recently. Yes EAGLE runs with Windows 8 as well.

    Indeed Eagle works perfect on Windows 8.

     

    I do have some trouble with Viewmate (Pentalogix).
    On previous Windows version, it was possible to drag a gerber file to any layer. It was also possible to drag and drop a zip file into Viewmate.

    Now on my Windows 8 installation the drag and drop doesn’t work anymore. I have the import layer by layer with the menu functions.

    So I'm losing a lot of time when I want to do a quick check of a design.

     

    Is there a solution for this issue. Or is there another good program to view and panelize gerber files in Windows 8?

    I'm using the latest version: ViewMate Deluxe 11.4.29
