    Hello,

This is the script file the ULP creates and will be executed then. What looks strange in the image you attached is that the / is replaced by a character that looks lika a W. What is the language setting of your operatin system?

    Regards,

    Richard

    Hello,

okay I understand. The ULP creates a script file that contains all the NAME commands necessary to rename all components in the schematic. This file will be written into the same folder where the schematic is. I think the reason could be that EAGLE is not allowed to create the file in this folder. This could have to do with user right management of Windows 7. Could you please check this? Do you have full admin rights on this computer?

Could you please copy the demo2 schematic into another location and try the renumber-sheet.ulp again? Does it work then?

    Best regards,

    Richard

I Have the same problem in renumbering the parts in schematic. I use eagle version 7.40 standard version with license.

every time I run ulp, it always goes to C:/user/user/ulp.

    This ulp folder is empty.image

So any one can help me as I am still learning about this eagle software.

    Hi sujatna lokananta,

please check the path settings for User Language Programs in the EAGLE Control Panel, in the Options/Directory menu. Is it set to the folder where all the ULPs are.the default entry there would be $EAGLEDIR/ulp.

    Best regards,

    Richard
