I have been using Eagle for my design, although i have become quite proficient with the software there are some functions at which i am stuck please help.
I have a made a design which is almost complete, now i want to add one more component in the design which is a custom made components and i have already made the package for the component. Now i want to add that component directly in the layout editor(board file) through the ADD command. but my Eagle 5.6 is not allowing me to do it, it gives an error message and tells me to do the change in schematic. But I have only made the package of that component, i don't have the symbol for it, and i don't want to make it, is there any way to do is.
