Recently I have seen a lot of people unhappy with the new eagle subscription, both on E14 and Facebook.
So I thought I would let you know that if you are a student you can get free access to Eagle Premium and a lot of other Autodesk products for free. Just go to Autodesk's website and sign up for a student account. I first got it when I was in high school to download Inventor, and have been using it since.
I will state however, that since I have had this account from before Autodesk focused more on cloud apps and i know that they have updated the accounts page in the past couple of years; I do not know if you will be guaranteed free Software. Although they do still state that on thier website "Students, teachers and academic institutions worldwide are eligible for free* access to Autodesk software. Yes, free. We genuinely believe in education."
