EAGLE  - How to name schematic sheets

How do you name sheets and have the name used for selection? Here is an example I found -

    image

For example, how can I get sheet 1 named 'Analog Inputs & Processing'? Super curious and I feel like I've tried everything, let me know your thoughts!

    Hi Justin,

Right click on the sheet thumbnail and click on "Description". Then when you type in the description it takes whatever is on the first line as the name shown in that list.

    Best Regards,

    Rachael

This works, thank you! Here is what I found -

    1. Navigate to target schematic page (e.g. Sheet 1 for me here, '1/5')
    2. Either:

*Enter "Description" into the text-entry bar and press enter. Fill out the popup

*Enter "Description new sheet name" into the text-entry bar and press enter

*Navigate to Edit->Description->Sheet from the menu bar. Fill out the popup

See below for where to click in EAGLE. This took a little effort, sharing this for simplicity for future users!

    Original Sheet Title

    After pressing 'Enter'

Here is how the names are updated for the Control Panel listings -

    • Schematic - Select 'Edit->Description->Schematic' and give value
    • Board - "Description new name" into the text-entry bar for the Board
