Texas Instruments CAD Libraries for Cadsoft EAGLE Software

element14 provides consolidated Cadsoft EAGLE CAD libraries to reduces the efforts and time put into by our EDE customer in PCB design process while creating CAD Library for specific part in a design. The provided CAD libraries has both Symbols and Footprints (Device, Symbol & Package) information and developed as per IPC standards to meets all industrial PCB design requirements. Every CAD library has part information along with Farnell and Newark order codes which helps in creating final Bill of Materials with the suppliers order codes.

This EAGLE CAD library covers a wide range of Texas Instruments device categories like Buffers, Microcontroller, Supervisory Circuit, Power Management, Transistors, Voltage References, Transceiver, Encoder/ Decoder,  Converter, Digital POT, Operational Amplifier, Comparators, Amplifiers, Battery Management, Switches etc. This library is provided in a downloadable ZIP format which includes below files:

1. Texas Instruments library (.lbr) file

2. List of components in the library (PDF)

3. Readme file - Gives step by step instruction on how to import and use the library file into the Cadsoft EAGLE software.

Hi You can download these libraries by clicking CAD Cadsoft EAGLE icon in farnell website. Below are the links: TPA3116: http://uk.farnell.com/texas-instruments/tpa3116d2dad/amp-class-d-26vin-2x50w-32htssop…

this should be maintained on github.com then everyone could submit parts for inclusion. dumb to have it here, frozen and locked into zip

    Parts:

    ads1115idgst and ads1115idgsr

    ads1114idgst and ads1114idgsr

within each "pair above" the parts show different pin configurations.

however, I can't find any such difference in the data sheet.

each set look like the only difference is package quantity.

but maybe it is there somewhere, and I can't see it.

    Thanks.

Again... Square boxes with wires attached are NOT schematic symbols. Prime example... Amplifiers are triangles, quad op-amps should be drawn as 4 separate symbols, with power supplies as a separate symbol also. Complex parts should include enough internal working components to give an idea of the function, etc. The whole point of a schematic is to make the operation of the circuit more easy to understand for a HUMAN, not just as a connection net-list to the layout program.

    vs or vs imageimageimageimage

It's easy. The manufacturer almost always includes a simplified block diagram of the device. Copy, connect to pins, use options of the library to parallel identical pins, etc. ***NOW*** you're creating a schematic. Before, you were just doing a drag-and-drop version of a text net-list. Very different.

    Hello.
Can you add TLV376 and TLV333 (single Op Amps = channel in the package) and then can you add similar TLVs with multiple Opamps = channels in the package, please.

BQ24040 has pads 1,5,6 and 10 wrongly placed by 0.023mm, thus the distance between the pads is 0.127mm instead of 0.15mm.

Some of these like the TPS2044A that you mention are 'NRND' status i.e. 'not recommended for new designs' so may never end up in a library if they are not historically there.

Anyway, Rachael's excellent documentation here has got you covered:
