4 layers in Freemium

I read, amongst other things:

Freemium offers customers double the number of layers and four times the number of sheets compared to the previous free software version of EAGLE (“Freeware”),
----------------------------------------------

 

So I downloaded the files, and got the time limited trial version license key.
I have now searched in vain for the extra 2 layers, would have been nice to try, and was the reason for downloading the new version.

 

Where are they, how do I access them??

  • Hi Finn,

     

    you have to define the layer setup first. Go to Edit/Design Rules, to the Layers tab. If you want to make a six layers board you have to define the setup, for example:  (1+2*3+14*15+16). Now you have access to all layers in a new board.

    In case you want to use an already existing board, it may happen that you have to define the additinoal layers first (they don't exist yet).

    Use the LAYER command for it: Example:   Layer 3 Route3;
