Schematic: Re-connect unconnected wires on pin

wire67

Hi,

I'm trying out Circuit Studio and I am having some troubles, one of them is as follow: I'm in a situation where the wires are not connected to the pins anymore (4 dots), how can I connect them without redrawing everything as this would be very inefficient? I tried placing a manual junction but it didn't help.

This situation can be reproduced by deleting and replacing the component.

Thank you for your help,

Jérôme

When I usually update the components then they are still connected unless I change the pin locations. Now when replacing a component then when you place it on the schematic you need to get these red crosses at the end of the pins this shows that it will reconnect to the wire. If you use a metric grid on the schematic then you can only use components that you have made on a metric grid otherwise you can run into problems aligning up pins and wires. All the components from the vault are in imperial so you can't use any of those on a metric grid without running into a lot of troubles.

Thx it was all imperial but you brought me to the right track:

The pins of my custom component were not aligned to the grid, so I did for the component model and the schematic wires:

    - select all

    - tool > align > align to grid (Shift+Ctrl+D)
