GND Spice Net needed to run XSpice Simulation

I am running a trial version of the software, and am in need of some help. When trying to run the "Setup XSpice Simulator" function, I am getting the error, "GND Spice Reference Net (specified in Setup Options) is not found In Schematic". I do have a GND net, and I can't find Setup Options. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Hi Marshal,

Here is the response from the devs:

Please click the Setup XSPICE Simulator button on the Tools menu and click Advanced Options at the bottom left. Then at the very bottom of the dialog is the Spice Reference Net Name which should be GND by default.

You could test whether your GND is connected by placing a ground power port somewhere else on your schematic, not connected to anything, and then click Tools > Underline Connections and click the ground. It should underline all of the ground wires on the schematic.

I suggest looking at some examples, please see extra information below (the Altium Designer instructions are valid for CiruitStudio as well):

The simulator buttons are on the Tools menu.
(If the buttons are missing, please install the Mixed Simulation extension by clicking the small "Configure..." link on the Installed tab of Extensions and Updates.)

Install the simulation sources and functions libraries from this folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Altium\CS\Library\Simulation
For examples, go to http://techdocs.altium.com/display/ADOH/Download+Examples+and+Reference+Designs and download examples.zip, and look in the Circuit Sim folder.

Hi all,

I had the same problem: "GND Spice Reference Net (specified in Setup Options) is not found In Schematic".
The reason was other "NetLabel" connected to GND.

The link to AMSE mixed simulation help NEEDS to be in the "Circuit Studio Documentation" front page, not buried in a forum post.
