Unable to reopen .schlib files

Hello,

 

I'm using CS for few month.

 

Today, I was designing components in an .intlib when CS freeze (but not the laptop)

Right now, it is not possible for me to reopen the previously generated .schlib.

 

If I cannot open these, I just lost 2 days of work.

 

Do you have any suggestion ?

 

CS is up to date and fully licensed.  And I tryed to reinstall CS, but with no better result.

    Hello Olivier,

     

    Please try to use Storage manager to recover the previous versions of the file:

     

    1. Create a new project.

    2. Right click on the project >> add existing to project and add the schlib document.

    3. Go to View on the Ribbon >> Storage Manager.

    4. Go to File >> Save all.

    5A. In the Storage Manager panel, select the .schlib and right click on the previous version of the file which is kept in the History folder. Then, click on open.

    5B. If you'd like to revert to that previous version file, right click on that version of the file and click on revert to.

    From the developers:

     

    Inside the folder for the libraries there should be a folder called History.

    It should contain several zip archives of the library.

    These can either be unzipped manually or may be accessed by going to the View menu and clicking Storage Manager.

    It's a good idea to not have too many documents open before using the Storage Manager.

    If the SchLib is selected at the top, then the versions are shown in the bottom pane of the panel.

    Double click a version to open it for editing.

    When the version is open, notice the number is shown in brackets in the document tab, e.g. Processors.~(2).SchLib
