Can I make both top and bottom 3D prints in the PDF document?

I today discussed with our PCB manufacturer of their problems in finding the right orientation of one connector.

The best solution we found would be to include 3D prints of the PCB from both sides. Now I only has the top side, and the connector in question was on bottom side.

I could not find any way to add a second 3D print to the output job. So my question is there one?

I can of course make a separate document having the other side of the PCB, but I would like to avoid that if possible.

    Hi Olli, this is not officially supported so there is no way to configure two 3D outputs.

    Having said that if you are happy to use a text editor the following seems to work... (unofficial, not supported, use at your own risk etc.)

    Configure the first 3D PCB output using the user interface and enable the output tick box.

    Use Notepad (or similar) to edit *.OutJob

    Search for "PCB 3D", this should highlight lines relating to output number 4.

    Copy and paste all related lines (OutputType4= through to PageOptions4=).

    Rename to output number 15 (e.g. OutputType4 -> OutputType15 etc)

    Save the file

    Configure outputs again via the user interface and switch the 3D PCB configuration to the opposite side of the board.

    Generate outputs and you should have 2 prints in your PDF document, one for each side.
