CircuitStudio Windows 10 (16299) startet nicht

mosertronik

Hallo element14 community,

Also hab ich zuerst mal scf /scannow probiert ohne Erfolg.

Sorry to hear of the problems you are having with your computer. Has CircuitStudio ever worked on this system (eval or full version)? Can you confirm you are using the latest version (1.4.1 build 99)

    Hello,

no it never worked on this computer.

It is the newest, installed with the webinstaller a few weeks ago.

Is it possible that Circuitstudio has a problem with the nvidia quadro card?

A graphics driver issue is certainly a possibility. Can you load a different graphics driver, run as a 'dumb' vga type display or swap temporarily to a different graphics card?

Just to let you know I've received word from Altium that they do not know of any particular problem with this graphics card, however they do not believe it widely used for CircuitStudio, most users have a consumer / gaming graphics card or use integrated graphics.

    Hello Peter!

I've tried it now with a VGA driver but circuitstudio crashed again.

I have no other graphic card so I can't test if this would work.

So have you any other idea what I can do / test?

Many thanks for testing with a VGA driver and sorry to hear it did not work. If you create a shortcut to CircuitStudio then you can try adjusting the compatibility settings that launch the application. Worth trying to change a few things just in case it helps. Otherwise the only suggest I can think of at present is to try on a different computer.

I found the problem. The installer that I downloaded on the first

December 2017 installed an old Version (1.2). However this is possible.

I reloaded the installer and now he installed the newest version 1.4.1

    which starts fine.

Thank you for your help - you can close the thread.
