I have an Iridium module that has multiple connectors on it that all require footprints on the PCB. I would like to create a component that will give each connector a unique designator and pick and place location. How best to do this?

I have done this before as individual connectors on the PCB and not combined them into one part. If you plan to use this often in the future then you could also build a placement aid as a mechanical part only (no BOM) that has the placement guides on mechanical layers. Then you can align the individual connectors easily. You can further verify placement in 3D mode if you have a step model of the Iridium module. This is where the 3D capability of CS is very useful.
Thank you for your answer. It is as I thought.
