How to make PCB library from existing PCB layout file

i used to make PCB library from existing PCB layout file when i was using AD, recently, i moved to CS to do the PCB layout, and i can't make PCB library from the PCB layout file any more, i wonder if CS removed this feature or not? Same question about find similar objects?

BTW, can i generate sch library and pcb library from .bxl file(Generated by Ultra Librarian) using CS? AD is able to do that, how about CS?

    It is possible to copy symbols and footprints into libraries in CircuitStudio. Make sure to have your library open (in a document window) and the list of library components visible (View | Library). Return to the PCB document and copy a footprint to the clipboard (select footprint then use Home | Copy and select reference point). Click on the library document window and then, in the "PCB Library" window, right click and select "Paste 1 Components". The same works for symbols (but do not attempt to save and modify symbols originally taken from the online vault).

     

    Ultra Librarian does not officially support CircuitStudio but see this post on how you can import components (although some checking and fixup may be required).
