Hi everyone!
I'm new to CS and have now started creating my first design and creating libraries.
The version is: 1.5.1 (Build 13)
Today I came across an issue when updating a component from library. A very similar issue has been already addressed last year in this discussion CircuitStudio Update Schematic Issue . The issue was solved with an CS update but it won't help me obviously since I'm working with a much later version and there is no update pending.
In this particular case there are two schematic libraries: one containing transistors and the other one OpAmps. Components from both libraries are used in the schematic doc. Now I needed to make changes on the transistor symbol and have used the function "Update Schematics" (Home/Schematics/Update Schematics). Unfortunately, the function has changed not only the transistor but also the OpAmp (inserted two transistors in fact, since the OpAmp is made of two parts). Both transistor and the OpAmp have the same footprint.
It happens both ways every time I press "Update Schematics" independent whether there was any change or not.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Thank you!!!
Johann
