In-app purchase - price of perpetual (lifetime) licence

Doing the in-app purchase of standalone licence the price is $495 as indicated on Altium website.

Is this licence really lifetime?

I've read somewhere that this price is reserved only to users that switching from EAGLE. Is this not true?

I'm not EAGLE user and I need a lifetime licence. Can I buy directly from the app?

What's keeping you to buy Eagle subscription for one month (18.5 euro) if you really need to prove yourself that you are correct?
Although the "spirit" of the offer was to actually attract people from using Autodesk Eagle to Altium Circuit Studio, there is no mention if the users have to be "experienced".
This way you are "switching" from Eagle.
Though, I have not heard that Altium/Element14 ever asked for proof that you are actually switching from Eagle.

Hi,

Yes, you can purchase directly from the App. The promo price of $495 was originally reserved for Eagle users, but that recently changed. The new price for CircuitStudio is $495USD Enjoy!
