Hi,
There appears to be 2 versions:
- CircuitStudio
- CircuitStudio Commercial
Please see here for details.
What is the difference between these versions?
Regards,
- Alan
Hi Alan,
I got in touch with support and they told me that there is "only one license that is professional license". "commercial" doesn't say anything.
Standalone license
Ideal for a single workstation and solo designer. It includes the first year subscription to receive CircuitStudio product updates, upgrades and access to the Altium Vault.
This license type is perpetual and does not require an active internet connection; this allows the user freedom to work wherever needed. Once activated, this license type can be saved, copied, and backed-up as needed. There is no limitations.
A renewal license gives access to Critical Product Updates, allowing users to stay up to date and at their most efficient. Also with continued access to Altium Vault, users are able to maintain the quality of their designs with trusted design content.
Hi Joao,
Thank you for clarifying this.
I was a bit confused with 2 versions at 2 different prices (€2,631 and €474) - I assume you are referring to the lower-priced version, as both version are Professional with the higher-priced version annotated with commercial license?
Much appreciated,
- Alan
