Designators nots showing properly in Assembly drawings

haythamhakla

Hi,

I'm having an issue with the designator display in the assembly layer in Circuit studio.

They always show ".Designator" in the PCB editor, instead of the actual designator.

When I print the drawing however, I see the proper designators.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue? There must be some display option somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

Thank you

    To see the ref des values you will need to enable the "convert special strings" display option.

    There are a few ways to access this menu.

    1) When in the PCB mode, right click on the window area showing the PCB and choose the context sensitive 'options' then 'Board layers & colors'.

    OR

    2) left click on the color box on the bottom tabbed row of the layers

    OR

    3) Press hot key combo: SHFT + L

    Then choose the View Options tab to get the menu below;

    Check the box to enable the Convert Special Strings.
