Importing DXF Alters Board Shape

Question

Importing a DXF for use as a custom polygon pour is altering my board shape (making it smaller). It isn't changing the outline layer. Any ideas? Some pics: Before DXF Import After DXF Import

First off, thanks for sending this in, responding quickly and creating the article. Truly appreciate the work. Although I can see where you all are going with the workaround (and I've used that in the past) I would recommend a different workflow. Instead of reinstating the board shape after DXF imports I would urge users to add additional PCB files to their projects to handle all of the DXF manipulation. That has worked wonderfully and allows a "sandbox" that does not influence the main PCB document, especially when you are doing many DXF imports to define custom polygon pours, logos, custom text, etc.
