Can I import my CM project to CS?

I would like to upgrade from Circuitmaker to Circuitstudio. Can I import my CM project to CS?

You need to use the File > Import command rather than open the PCB directly.

I believe both CS and CM use the same schematic document file format (*.SchDoc) and CS includes an importer for CM PCBs (*.CMPcbDoc) so you should be able to import your projects.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for your response.
When I open my CM .prjpcb project in CS, the .schdoc opens correctly as a "source" document, but the .cmppcbdoc opens as an "other" document and I cannot open it.
I cannot find a CM importer within CS.
