License transfer

Hello,

I have contacted software@element14.com several times requesting to transfer license from one machine to another in our organization.

No license was moved and no reply from CS was received.

Is there another way to transfer licenses?

    Hi,

    Yes you can do this.  I'm not sure exactly of the details but it is something like:

     

    Within CS go to your account information: off the Home page (File -> Help -> About -> My Account)

     

    Export Standalone License.  This should prompt you for where to save the license file (*.alf type file).

     

    Copy this to another computer and then within CS there, Pick the Add Standalone License button.

    It would be a good time to make a backup of the ALF file someplace safe too.
