circuitstudio problem opening altium designer pcb

Hi,

I have some designs built with Altium Designer 14.3.

I am trying to open them in CircuitStudio.

I can open and edit the schematics,

make a new pcb,

but not open an existing altium designer pcb.

    Hi,

     

    That is correct.  You can open schematics and libraries but not PCBs.  They did this intentionally.  I think are are ways to export AD PCBs to an older format and then reimport but that doesn't help if you are trying to pull in a reference design that is available in AD format.

     

    If you have the RUL file you can probably import the rules though.
