Circuit Studio :: Mixed mode Simulation included?

Hi,

 

I've a question about Circuit Studio:

 

You write that this software includes "Mixed mode simulation capabilities are included right from inside the tool" ; which is not written on CST website.

I tried free Trial and didn't see this feature neither ; even if component have linked sim parameters, there is no Simulation panel.

+Source libraries sim are not included.

 

So is it really a feature of this software or not?

and how to proceed?

    We are very sorry for the confusion, but Mixed Mode Simulation will be added in the next live update of Circuit Studio and will be easily accessible to all license holders (or evaluators at the time of release) via the "Extensions and Updates" tab from the home screen. Access to these updates is a part of the regular development of the product that license holders receive as part of their subscription service included for the first year of ownership and renewable thereafter. You can expect this update to occur, along with other developments/enhancements/etc, in the May timeframe of this year and continuous updates on a regular basis thereafter. Thanks!

    finny, The Mixed Mode Simulation is officially being tested in Beta right now for the v1.1 release. This will be available in mid-May. Along with the simulation, we have added:

     

    - Additional Importers - Updated to include Protel, PCAD, and support for Altium .PCBDOC (AD10 and older)

    - .STEP export ability

    - DXF import ability

    I am currently evaluating the software and I can't for the life of me find any command that will allow me to start a simulation. I have built a very simple schematic using a couple of parts that have simulation models, but don't see any way to run the simulation. Is this part of the software package yet? The version I downloaded is 1.1.0 (build 44421). I keep reading that simulation was supposed to be added in May of this year.
