Search Vault "no results"

Hello

I'm having trouble searching the vault.

I can see the list of manufactures but when I try to do a search I only get "Your search "0805" gives no results. Try different keywords.

This occurs for any search criteria I try and search on knowing the part even exists?

On the left hand pane, you need to select the folder you want to search in, usually this means selecting the "Unified Components" folder. With that selected, then do your search.

I have the same problem. Yes, I do select the unified components folder. Frustrating.

I have the same problem. Also, just today, using the Vault makes CS crash. I use CS without using the Vault...no crash.

Me too. Some searches yield results, for instance 0603 will, but 0805 doesn't. It's like the search engine is stuck looking at one column, instead of everything. I guess I'll get nothing done today.

Same thing with me this AM. Still can't search the vault, if I manually place a part from the vault CS crashes. Just making placeholder schematic symbols for now so I can keep working.

Hi,

Per the developers:

"This should be fully resolved now. Search will retrieve results and you will be able to click on and navigate into the results. We had to restore some previous back-end system changes to fully resolve this."

Seems to be working for me. But, I don't think I'll be using the vault much anymore. I can't afford to be down for a week. Making my own components takes longer, but at least I can find them and they don't crash the s/w.
