Can anyone from the Element14 (or Altium) team give the community any idea on what plans are in place for a next revision to be released? Since we're coming up on the 6 month mark with 1.4 I figured this is a good time to at least ask the question.

I'll put a second vote up for a roadmap of planned revisions/releases. Without these I will not be renewing my subscription.
I've absolutely no intention of renewing my subscription given the obvious lack of interest Altium have in the product.
I agree that it would be nice to get a notice a few months in advance of a release and when they have set a target date. I recently renewed my subscription as I think the software is worth the cost so they do get my vote of confidence that there will continue to be improvements.
Third vote!
Major update was planned six month ago but still no public info exist.

I'm not even sure what I am subscribing to, aside from the content vault.
I suspect that Element14 would get quite a few return subscribers if a timeline of updates/actions for the software would be provided. At least that would give a sense that improvements are in the works.
Element14 Team... I know you are watching new posts/questions and answering them. So I really hope you can give some sort of update on this question ASAP. I was just asked by my superiors today if we should continue our subscription with Circuit Studio or revert back to Autodesk's Eagle. Autodesk has been rapidly updating/improving their software and has resolved many issues we used to have. I still see some merit with Circuit Studio with regards to 3D development and BOM management. But I am losing confidence that will be the case going forward. Please let us know what kind of update/bug fix support is in the works!
My confidence is pretty much gone now. Unfortunately this software could fill a good void in the EDA software world, but with lack of support and a roadmap, I am predicting update 1.4 may have been the last update we will ever see with the product.
I think that's the problem with this model of Altium providing a product and e14 providing support.
Element14 can't update the software and Altium can't answer questions or provide support.
It is a broken model.
I suspect that the break in the model is that Element14 has not paid Altium for any updates past 1.4 and Altium isn't going to give them any more updates until they get paid.
The other interesting thing with this model is that Altium ultimately can decide what features they will or won't provide to Element14 in the Circuit Studio package. Remember, they don't want to cut into their Altium Designer sales too much.
