What is the rubber stamp and can it be used to copy settings between objects

I am trying to set multiple pads solder mask expansion value to be 10 mil

Unfortunately when viewing multiple selected pads using PCB Inspector tool, no entry can be found for solder mask expansion value:

So, I switched my focus to trying to find a command that can be used to copy an objects' parameters and paste as parameters into a second object.

I thought that perhaps the Rubber Stamp tool could do that (access by typing "Rubber" into the command search bar in upper right of CircuitStudio window):

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, this command does not actually do anything.  So what is it supposed to do?

Interestingly, I don't have a rubber stamp command at all (CS 1.5.2 build 30)

Confirmed - it doesn't existing in 1.5.2. A little more digging shows that rubber stamp does exist - if you have something already selected. It is basically copy & paste. There is no way to manually edit…

It seems to refer to an older command in AD that was deprecated in AD18. It was discussed in this link I got on a web search that ended up downloading a PDF doc. I used Google to find this string "altium…

There is no way to manually edit the solder mask expansion of multiple pins in one go. However the automatic mask expansion is part of the design rules so depending on what you are looking to achieve you may be able to add a new expansion rule and tie in with a component, footprint or pad class.

Here is the version that I have installed:

Seems like I am also running 1.5.2

I guess this command somehow either was introduced into a beta release or else is left over somehow after I downloaded updates.

Whatever.... lets just file this in the "unsolved mystery" category.  Adding tag now.

It was discussed in this link I got on a web search that ended up downloading a PDF doc.  I used Google to find this string "altium rubber stamp PCB"

    http://techdocs.altium.com/printpdf/210230

And so you don't have to follow the link here is a screen shot.
