I can assure you that the webinar will not be trying to sell Altium Designer, it is dedicated to CircuitStudio.

    Hello,

Just a couple of wish list points from a satisfied user of CS :-)

    1. Finished documentation online .2. Keyboards shortcuts - customization and assigning custom key combinations. (I understand it can be done by modifying a file somewhere in the install directory, but it would make life much easier if there was a place in the software to do it.

    3. Vault results display. (This seems to be an issue for many others like me. Whenever we search for a component the results are displayed in an extremely dense display showing all the properties. and unchecking is not persistent. It would be great if there was a persistent option to show only fixed fields, which we can choose.)

Thank you element14 for the community !! :-)

Very very nice and responsive people here!! :-)

It is possible to set the default designator text size
prior to updating the PCB from the schematic. First you need to be in the PCB
editor and add a component (anything will do), whilst the component is still on
the cursor hit TAB to change the designator properties. Place the ‘dummy’
component. This sets the default that will now be used when you update the PCB
    from the schematic.

The Circuit Studio is a great alternative to Altium Designer if you only need a basic layout system. Can you at the webinar reveal some of the roadmap for this product. Will the product exist in the future? Can we at my company rely on that it will exist for the next years or shall we find an alternative PCB layout system?

There is no way, the only way I do it is to select each one by one and then can go to inspector to change what you want to.  It is very slow if you have a big pcb with lots of components on. It would also be nice if you could set the height and font of the pcb components before bringing them into the board - is there a way to do this.

By the Pcb Editor - Interactive Routing - if I set the Routing Conflict Resolution to "Ignore obstacles" when I route the pcb it goes over all pads etc the only why I can solve this is to have the "Push Obstacles" on which I hate - Is this a problem or am I doing something wrong.

Setting a rule for a GND Polypour eg 1st Object match - Net   GND the 2nd object martch - all.  To get it to work you have to keep putting it as the top priority Why is this?

Given my previous discussions with Altium I have a feeling this is just going to be a chance for them to try to sell Altium Designer to anybody that's unhappy with Circuit Studio.

"Let's keep the questions about Rampart please"

Is the Eagle importer going to be improved?
There are small changes that need to be made that would fix a huge number of troubles with importing even simple Eagle designs.
Part of that is that how the layers are mapped need to be changed, or at least import to layers that are disallowed in CS needs to be resolved.

I'll also note that the program is a little slow, even when running on a high-spec PC.
