-T2 40V family comes in green and robust packages, offering best-in-class RDS(on) and the highest current rating for automotive motor and load control applications in these packages.
All of our automotive products deliver the highest levels of quality and reliability in green and robust packages. These devices are designed specifically to withstand the added stress placed on components and boards as a result of the higher temperatures used for lead-free soldering. To avoid overstress, for example delamination of mold compound and metallic contacts, all OptiMOS-T2 40V products sustain peak reflow temperatures of up to 260° C and are fully backward compatible with existing leaded solder processes. These devices are fully automotive qualified to AEC grade and moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1). OptiMOS-T2 40V is available in all standard power packages including TO-220, D²PAK, TO-262, as well as a 7-lead D²PAK.
Leveraging our advanced trench technology, OptiMOS-T2 40V thus sets a new benchmark for the next generation of automotive applications pushing energy, CO2 and electrical motor efficiency to new heights, while minimizing EMC emissions, especially in combination with PWM control.
