MIPAQ™︎ serve - The Module with Driver Electronics

ImageMIPAQTm serve is a highly reliable power module integrating an IGBT sixpack configuration, a full set of driver ICs as well as digital temperature measurement. These functionalities make MIPAQTm serve a full plug-and-play solution for high-current drive applications.

Inside the module, there are galvanically isolated drivers based on Infineon's Coreless Transformer Technology. The elimination of optical couplers further enhances the module's long-term stability.

Featuring the newly designed EconoPACKTm 4 packages and the latest chip technology IGBT4, these devices cover the 1200V range and manage currents of 100A, 150A and 200A. The voltage and logic signals are transferred through standardized connectors supporting plug-and-play detection. The actual current is provided externally via M5-sized screws.

FeaturesApplications

  • EconoPACKTm 4 package plus driver on top for reduced board space in the application
  • Up to 200A nominal current
  • Designed for robustness with ultrasonic welding technology, injection-molded DC bus bar, control pins and power terminals
  • Highly sophisticated CLT for improved system reliability due to elimination of optoelectronics
  • True baseplate temperature measurement providing digital information to the user - galvanically separated
  • Increased output power and efficiency due to optimized dead time
  • Industry-standard connectors
  • Plug & play solution for high-current drives
  • 150°C junction temperature
  • RoHS compliance
  • Industrial drives, such as compressors, pumps and fans
  • Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
  • Air conditioning systems
  • Solar inverters
