XE166N - 16-Bit Real-Time Signal Controller with 32-Bit Performance and Enhanced Safety Features Optimized for Cost Sensitive Applications

The XE162N (LQFP-64) and XE164N (LQFP-100) microcontroller series is based on Infineon's popular and well-established C166 architecture.

With it's optimized memory and peripheral set, the devices offer enhanced safety features for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 and 3 applications. These include an MPU (Memory Protection Unit), an MCHK (Memory Checker) and ECC (Error CorrectionCode) for flash memory and SRAM.
