ImageWe have further expanded our unrivalled portfolio in the low-ohmic arena with the introduction of BTS 50060-1TEA. This device is a 6mΩ (max 12mΩ @ 150°C) single-channel protected high-side switch, housed in a green and robust 5-pin DPAK package.

 

Targeted mainly at heating systems (e.g. seat and PTC heaters) and relay replacement, this new PROFETTm can also be used for all types of resistive, capacitive and inductive loads. Optimized edge shaping results in low switching losses and good EMC performance, offering the best balance between power and efficiency. BTS 50060-1TEA can be driven directly from a microcontroller and includes protection functions such as overcurrent and overtemperature shutdown plus diagnostic functions such as open load in ON and OFF state, short-to-battery detection, and accurate load current measurement. In addition, an innovative sense current concept enables simplified end-of-line calibration.
