I just finished adding insulation and weather seal to my greenhouse for extending the growing season through winter.

I have some controls, sensors, and camera system installed, but they are not all connected together as a system.

I plan to use either a raspberry pi 3, or this Intel Edison kit to control heat, cooling, vents, humidity, and automatic watering and lighting.

All data and controls will be networked via WiFi.

Here's a live shot of inside the greenhouse from the webcam.

Sandeep, that would be cool to build into an RC car.

I would use the Intel Edison kit to continue development of an extremely low cost, easily set-up, multi-camera home monitoring system. The plans I have, include the use of either low-cost webcams, or existing device webcams. (Wi-Fi connected)

Remote access to the cameras VIA website and/or mobile app.

I would make a Digital Assist using BCI-Brain Computer interface-NFC and Cognitive Services APIs and interfacing with BioMon Sensor SFH 7050 (Heart rate monitoring,Pulse oximetry,Proximity sensor)

    and Temperature-Pressure-Humidity sensors.

I'm new to SBC projects but with a board this new compared to my only other SBC project with a raspberry pi b. I'm intresded in trying and changing my projects as I learn more. I'm a fan of doing more with less.  Sorry this is so short but to say that I would do one thing over another would be misstating he truth. Thanks guys

I would like to improve the performance of my two wheeled inverted pendulum, I want to include a wireless interface and test it with several adaptive control schemes. I have worked with microchip and STM microcontroller but I need more processing power to get my goals.

I would like to use this board for the next Eurobot Challenge with my workmates. We are six french students in robotics. The goal of the challenge is to build a robot which is able to make some actions like to pick some objects, to understand it environment (position, adversary position).

Each match takes place on a table (2000mmX3000mm) :

    Afficher l'image d'origine

You can see the rules on the next link : http://www.planete-sciences.org/robot/data/file/coupe/2017/E2017_Rules_EN.pdf

The competition gather french enginner's students during a week-end :

    Afficher l'image d'origine

We would like to use some interessant features of this board with OpenCV recognition, I2C interfaces, trajectories calculation, GPIO driving, etc...

It can be a chance for us to discover Intel products and to share the board's possibilities.
