  • Aren't you tired of having to manually select which phone connect to your handsfree system in your car due to lack of support by your manufacturer?

     

    Well, I would create a bluetooth "bridge" to address this issue.

     

    Basically, my Toyota Sienna 2013 has bluetooth support but it required you to manually select the device each time the driver change, this gets annoying and we keep forgetting..

     

    With this Intel Edison board I would create a small device that would listen on bluetooth after the car started and connect to the first (or prioritized) device found and bridge it to the car audio system.

     

    That way the car will always be connected to the Intel Edison board  and the board would then connect to a device, All traffic will then be passed on to the car audio system, no more need to manually select the device.

     

    And much more safety for everyone on the roads!
