Rishi Vasuki

Rishi has been with Microchip Technology since 2001.  He has experience in developing portable music players and designing a wide variety of embedded applications (audio, security, motor control, power supplies and smart sensor).  His current focus includes PIC(R) XLP MCUs for eXtreme Low Power applications as well as Microchip's mTouch solutions using 8-bit PIC18 & 16-bit PIC24 MCUs.

  • Hi Rishi,

     

    I wanted to know if you had any experience using MPLAB and the Pickit family of low cost programmers under Linux? Does Microchip have any plans to port MPLAB to Linux and Mac?

     

    I was considering going from Windows to Linux permanently and I just wanted to make sure I could still run MPLAB to program my Dspics. I'm currently running the latest version of Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx.
