what is the difference between DM240001 and DM240002

i need to know the difference between DM240001 & DM240002.DM240002.

Does the DM240002.DM240002. support dspic as PIM or it just for PIM PIC

if it does not support how i can use dspic with DM240002.DM240002.

The DM24001 is the 100 Pin Explorer 16 board and the DM24002 is the 44 Pin Explorer 16 board.
The Explorer 16 100-pin features two interchangeable Plug-In Modules (PIMs), one each for the PIC24FJ128GA010 and the dsPIC33FJ256GP710 DSC. TheExplorer 16 44-pin features a Plug-In Module (PIM) for the PIC24FJ64GA004

but do i need to buy dsPIC33FJ256GP710 DSC or it comes with the board

and does is it so hard if i buy the 44 pin and used an external dspic with it

According to the page I linked to, the 100 Pin Explorer does come with the 2 pims, which are populated with the PIC Chips.
