Could be with a gun style trigger for large scale barcoding or side button triggers for field personnel.

Isn't regular barcode scanning capable via the camera already with apps? Or do you mean RFID reader instead?

True, but the scan engine is not adequate for higher speed scanning, longer distance scanning, etc.
This is needed in a lot of asset control and inventory applications. I do agree an RFID reader could also be added to this MOD because they are being used more and more in data capture situations.
