Idea! (But new to electronics)

Question

Hello all! I'm very new to all this. I have an idea for a mod that I would love to see come out but none of the skills necessary to actually make it. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good place to start learning?

Also, although you're interested in the moto mods, easier platforms to start experimenting with are the Raspberry Pi and Arduino, because there's lots of information for them. Once you're familiar writing code and connecting electronics, then you can feel more confident moving to other platforms perhaps.
