Is it possible to connect a Moto Mod directly to the Moto mod connector?

Hello everyone!

Is it possible to connect our own Moto Mod design directly to the Moto Mod connector via SPI without using the Moto Mod MuC?

We want to communicate directly with our microcontroller, but I didn't find any documentation and ways how you can implement this from the Android side.

I know that Pin 6,8,14 and 16 are the pins we need.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

You can certainly port nuttx and the Moto Mods platform to your own microcontroller.  You would still need to speak the Moto Mods protocol for it to integrate properly with Android.  Please be aware that even limited/partial support is still probably a fair amount of effort.

For the electrical details you're looking for, you would need to Partner with Moto just like building any commercial Mod.
