Power Rating or new Moto Z device

Hi,

i would like to know if the new Moto Z that is going to lanch this year going to support high voltage input for Moto Mod to charge it.

Such as 9V or 12V to provide more than 5W input in the 16pin connector.

Both the existing Moto Z (and Play) and the new Moto Z Play support variable voltage charging. Check out our Turbo Charge Battery.

Additionally, the protocol for handling high voltage charging is documented here:
