I'm not exactly sure of what you are trying to do:

    • The Moto Mods HAT Adapter Board is used to connect Raspberry-Pi compatible HAT expansion boards to a compatible Motorola MotoZ mobile phone.
    • You are mentioning the Sony IMX230 - are you trying to connect this to a MotoZ or a Raspberry Pi?
    • In general, out of the box support for cameras through the CSI connector is limited to the Raspberry Pi camera products (IMX219 for V2, OV5647 for V1).
    • To use other cameras would require quite a lot of development effort - you will have to adapt whatever connection method to match that of the Raspberry Pi's flexible-flat-cable pin-out and write a suitable driver for it.

You would have to design your own. Pinouts for modules vary depending on the module. Likewise, RPI pin-out is provided in schematics from the foundation. The problem is you will need to design your own adapter, and you will need to somehow come up with a driver for it which probably requires some knowledge from Broadcom in regards to the VideoCore GPU - see these threads/posts for a bit of perspective:

This is not something it seems many others have done, so you're really much on your own.
