m.arguello I attended the November 11th 0800 PST session. I thought it was excellent. VERY fast paced. No waste. For a complete new person, this will be a bit like drinking from a fire hose. Some familiarity with LabVIEW will help the attendee. There are plenty of free online tutorials to prepare the attendee. One doesn't need to be an expert, just familiar with this concept of a graphical programming language.

Also... dual monitors cannot be encouraged enough. I tried to pull it off with a single monitor and it was less than optimal. Norm is on a mission to share as much as he can in 90 minutes and swapping views on a single monitor detracts from the stream of information.

For the Maker/Hobbyist... NI offers the LabVIEW Community Edition for free - as long as you are not using it for business. Once the online trial expires, you can revert to the Community Edition to continue learning or improving your LabVIEW skills. That's what I plan to do.

Stuart_S BTDT. Norm is definitely not a robot. His title of "LabVIEW Evangelist" is quite appropriate. HIGH energy. Worth attending if LabVIEW interests you.
