How to get STM32F105 into DFU mode?

Hi!

 

I got a custom board and having problem to get F105RCT6 MCU into DFU mode when connected to USB-cable and PC. Is there anyone the have some suggestions that can help me?

 

I also tried to get connected using USB to TTL with no success. Then I tried PA9/PA10 for USART1_TX and USART1_RX..

 

All help is appriciated

    Have you tried connecting PA9/OTG_FS_VBUS to +3.3V?

    Thanks for the reply. No, I have not tested PA9. I will give this a try and is hopeful.

     

    I have a question regarding if Nreset pin 7 always should be connected to Vdd? On my custom board this is the case and I wonder if this can cause the problem due to I cannot physically do a reset with a switch as it is right now. But I can do a modification if needed to cut the line for Nreset so this is not connected to Vdd if this could help. Hope you can understand my description.
