Hello,
I would like to ask for help. I found an old Tektronix THS720P handheld oscilloscope and multimeter (20-25 years). It seems to be working OK at the first glance, but the BNC connectors have damaged locks.
I found a service manual and was able to dismantle the unit, however, I can't get the BNCs out. What surprises me is the outer black "shield" is made from plastic, I have only seen metal so far. The connector had a rubber ring from the outer side (now removed) and is a bit loose, but it feels to be locked somehow and I can't remove it. There are two little holes on the top and bottom side of the plastic part, both from the inside and outside, but sticking a thin screwdriver didn't help, yet.
(Please excuse the photo quality, I tried to do the best, but only have a cell phone camera.)
Anyone remembers how to get the connector out?
In addition to that, could you help me finding a replacement (if possible)? I might be searching wrong, but all BNCs I found look are different types.
Thank you,
David
