Signal Integrity: impedance matching in combination with BGA fan-outimage

signal integrity

Higher transfer rates and clock frequencies require impedance matched lines throughout the whole signal path. This is the only way to ensure a failure-free communication between the components. In particular, fine pitch BGAs require complex layer stack-ups and also limit the choice of design parameters.

In this webinar we will show you:

  • Solutions for all common BGAs - from standard to fine pitch
  • Various stack-up possibilities
  • The differences between standard technology and HDI to show typical impedances in combination with complex BGA designs
  • The best fitting aspect ratio and the possible via sizes for various BGAs

    Hi Michael

    Good question! image

Würth Elektronik as a whole group is divided into 3 sections:

Würth Elektronik PCB - manufacturer of circuit boards

Würth Elektronik eiSos - manufacturer of electronical and electromechanical components

Würth Elektronik ICS - offering circuit board-based system solutions for power boards, display and control panels and electronic controls

As we are in close contact with our colleagues from other divisions we thought this is something the element14 community might be interested in.

So this is how it made it on our group page here on e14.

    Hope this helps

    Simon

How does the signal integrity training fit in with Wurth's component manufacturing business?

(This isn't a criticism in any way - it just seems an odd direction to go in.)
