We Ask You - Electronics Blog Würth Elektronik

Hi there

 

We from Würth Elektronik are thinking of having our own electronics blog where we write about several e-related topics and issues.

 

What we would like to ask the e14 community, is what subjects you would love to read about in a blog?

Maybe you´re following a blog already. If so, please let us know what you find interesting about this particular blog and why you´re following it..

 

We already have a few areas in mind, feel free to comment:

  • EMC
  • Singal & Communication
  • Power Inductors
  • Optoelectronics
  • Electromechanicals
  • Future Technologies (e.g.: Wireless Power Charging & Energy Harvesting)
  • Topologies (e.g.: Buck, Boost, Sepic, Cuk)

    Hi Simon,

     

    I would like to back Christever's proposition on PCB design and additionally what to consider when using your electromechanical components (examples are welcome).

    Since I'm just a hobbyist I don't know much about that.

     

    Also, since Würth produces different types of inductors it would be nice to see a guide on inductor type selection for specific applications. When I recently built my solar battery charger I only cared about inductance and rated current - I'm sure there are more things that I had to take into account.

    Thanks a lot for your input.

     

    In regards to selecting inductors, you may wanna check out our "Component Selector" and the "RedExpert". Both tools are made for selecting the correct inductor by setting the values of your application.

    This could be the perfect fit for you.
