Würth Elektronik expands its extensive portfolio of switches for the electronics industry, adding three new series to the product line of switches.

 

 

 

WS-TST - Tact switches 6x6 mm right angle type with grounded terminal

 

Models of the series WS-TST are available in size 6×6 mm. Their covering of these THT switches are made of carbon steel plate, as are its contacts which have an additional layer of plated silver. With silver-plated connections and with actuator and housing of LCP UL 94V-0, the switches are not only lead-free and RoHS-compliant, but also suitable for operating temperatures between -40 and +85° C. Switches of this size feature a contact rating of up to 50 mA, 12 VDC, contact resistance of 100 MΩ @500 VDC, dielectric strength of 250 VAC/min and contact resistance of 100 mΩ max.

WS-RAT - Rotary switches 7x7 mm THT

 

Models of the series WS-RAT are available in size 7x7 mm. Their covering is made of stainless steel, as are its contacts which have gold plating. With gold-plated connections and with actuator and housing of LCP UL 94V-0, the switches are not only lead-free and RoHS-compliant, but also suitable for operating temperatures between -60 and +125° C. Switches of this size feature a contact rating of up to 100 mA, 42 VDC, contact resistance of 100 MΩ @500 VDC, dielectric strength of 250 VAC/min and contact resistance of 100 mΩ max. This series is available with 10 and 16 positions and with real and complement code.
