This blog is to make available the USB to Banana Plug adapter design in case anyone else wants to build one.
This adapter converts a standard 2 pin banana jack to a USB connector and a 0.1" pitch header. This allows bench power supplies to test USB devices with any voltage and current. It also allows USB cables to be tested for voltage drop.

The zip file of PCB manufacturing artwork I used to have these cards built is attached. It can be sent as is to a PCB fab shop.
I used banana plugs like this.
