I am required to travel a lot for work, but I need to access a great deal of data from home. I would love a raspberry pi 5 to create a NAS that I could access remotely.

I'm gonna attach a single led and make it blink lol

Local Paper Minecraft server for the family running on Dietpi. Still might make the led thing but have it blink when someone dies.

Hey!

I have two ideas to pitch, since you have never said you can submit just one. :)

Let me start you with a quirky kinetic art idea. Raspberry Pi 5 receives input from a live or an online audience, that can probabilistically trigger certain modules, some of which are aimed at producing visual or acoustic effects while others damaging the installation in rather inefficient ways. Why Raspberry Pi 5? Because none of my current trinkets are capable of it! The central device need to be able to output to display, interface with USB devices and additional I/O modules.

The alternative idea is a little less unique - create something akin the PI400 unit, but make it in a fully custom hot swappable mechanical keyboard with exposed (remaining) I/O and other useful bits, like a mini-display and a rotating knob.

I would like use the raspberry pi 5 to complete my current robot project. It needs a strong small computer to run ROS.

If I win, I would use a Raspberry PI 5 as a Host computer for embedded develpment of picos, arduinos and esp32 etc.
