After the flurry of unkind remarks about the RPi over the last couple of years it is good to see a way to show how the RPI can take a kicking and keep on ticking. Yes, it is a bad pun, but you have to…

Awesome! I'm working on a smart alarm clock which updates the time of the alarm based on the best train connection possible (taking into account possible delays). This should allow the user to sleep as…

I am making a electric scooter, ALL running off of a raspberry pi (my endtime goal making the build hence "modular"), and a surprisingly light Emergency-Computer-Power-Backup. (that is a quote from the label, Good luck saying that 10 times, Salesman) Surprisingly the brake servos and the throttle were the hardest to get reliable, but working, sorta, i will go about a mile, then the LCD gives you the battery low symbol. but managed to ride it to the taco shop and back fine! Next project, run a 3 monitor (yes THREE) monitor setup (thinking of http://j.mp/16usbmon for the monitor)

I'm working on a portable, easy to use Outside Broadcasting box for the radio station I'm involved with.

Two Raspberries housed in this aluminium case:

The case will connect to our studio, or directly to our transmitter sites, via a VPN connection over Ethernet, WiFi or 3G/4G mobile data network.

I'll also give it Bluetooth, in order to be able to take listener's phone calls, using a cell phone.
