I thought it ironic, that I am working on a Raspberry Pi Boot Camp for the local high school and I stumble across the posting for Pi Day 2020 - New Raspberry Pi Tips eBook and Blog Roundup . Of course I had to download the ebook. Thanks E14. To bad I couldn't have planned the boot camp for this weekend. Not possible, I was waiting for Newark to ship me the Pi3B+ SBC. It arrived this week. Now that I have the hardware I can start sticking pins in dates.
The camp is open to members of the local high school lunch time, Computer Club. It is common for students participate in weekend sporting tournaments. I thought, why not host an event for computer athletes. The camp is being held on a weekend. It is a one day event to develop computer skills by setting up a Raspberry Pi. At the end of the day, students will walk away with their own working Raspberry Pi. Local businesses are providing resources to make the day possible. There are no costs to students that attend.
Who thought retirement from a 40 years in technology could be such fun? Enjoy you Pi on the day folks.
